“Any biographer must of necessity become a pilgrim,
a peripatetic, obsessed literary pilgrim, a traveler
with four eyes.”
~ Leon Edel
What kind of traveler are you? Which cities, which towns have captivated you? In Pilgrim’s Imago, we’re in search of poems that delve into the deep psyche of the sojourner, the one fascinated by places filled with history,
nature, culture. Maybe it’s having borlotti beans and kashar cheese overlooking the Aegean Sea. Maybe it’s climbing the Borobudor in Central Java, and reaching Arupadhatu, or the world where there are no forms. Maybe it’s walking through the ruins of Aqaba church in Jordan. Within the poem then must surface your unique experience, and small epiphany.
